This blog is short and sweet.  I have just written a position paper for a Client regarding legal compliance.  But that is just the problem.  Organizations are so reliant on legal compliance they fall short of what is good for them and their employees.

Compliance is for those who dont know what to do, to guide them relative to what the lowest level of requirement.  Better practice, however, implies that the measures to be applied will exceed the minimum.

So how I have to ask myself, have we come so far in H&S legislation, systems and availability of knowledge, and still have multi-national organizations who have no clue, and are totally non-compliant?  Eish...
